As the old saying goes, “Everyone loses when there’s a natural disaster.” This is why we recommend purchasing travel insurance to cover any losses you may incur due to weather-related closures. Our company is never happy when a trip is canceled, and neither are our guests. However, as the saying goes, everyone loses. We pay our workers for everything—from making bookings and registering reservations in our system to handling sales, marketing, and even loading and preparing the boat for departure. Countless hours of work go into each trip before it departs. We ask all guests to be prepared for a delay of up to 24 hours due to wind-related issues.
> In the event of a natural disaster, we will refund the full amount of your trip, minus 25% to cover booking and preparation expenses. Should you wish to perform additional tasks to help mitigate your loss, please feel free to contact us for more details. Again, everyone loses during these disasters, and we hope you understand that this risk is shared by all parties.
Green Gecko operates all trips in a legal and safe manner respecting Philippine Maritime Law and the Coast Guard authority . Although we always plan to operate our own trips there are occasions where running our own boats may not be feasible due to strong winds, mechanical or technical problems , sickness or any other reason. Green Gecko reserves the right without prior consent from our guests to alter the itinerary, cancel trips, join other companies, hire other boats outside of our own or any combination of actions to ensure that the trip continues to operate in a safe and law abiding manner.
