REFUNDS AND CANCELATIONS
Payments:
A 5000 PHP (Philippines Peso) deposit is required at booking at booking time to hold your reservation. This deposit is payable via PayPal or wire transfer through Western Union. The outstanding amount is required 24 hours before planned departure unless previously agreed upon. Final payment is payable in cash. Should you prefer PayPal a 5% PayPal fee shall be added to your booking amount.
Rebooking and Cancelation (Boat Expedition):
Rebooking and reservation Policy.
Rebooking and/or changes to your booking can be made up to 30 days before scheduled departure. This rebooking is subject to availability and a rebooking fee of $50 USD per person.
Cancelation and refund Policy:
We cancel our expeditions only when a severe weather warning has been announced and the Philippines Cost Guard refuses to grant us disembarking clearance. When our expeditions are cancelled, we automatically reschedule them within the next two or three days. If you cancel within this 3 day grace period, no refund shall be made. Please make sure that you have a 2 or 3 day window for your booking. Please also ensure that your travel insurance will cover this loss if you are unable to reschedule. As it’s the reason we buy insurance in the first place. We will only issue a full refund if we cancel the full trip on orders of the Philippines Coast Guard.
If u cancel your trip, you will lose your 5000 PHP (Philippines Peso) deposit.
Other Unforeseen Damages:
Green Gecko shall not be held liable to its guest got any loss or damage, of whatever kind or nature, including but not limited to cancellation of flights, missed flights, delayed flights, room reservations, denial of travel by Philippines Coast Guard authorities due to weather disturbances as a direct result of the failure on the part of the Green Gecko to fulfill or comply with its obligations under the guests booking. If said fulfillment and/or compliance were prevented, hindered, delayed or rendered impossible by any acts of God, governmental authority, war, rebellion, epidemic, accident, fire, flood, storm or other circumstances or events effecting the ability of the company to fulfill or comply with its above mentioned obligations.
Travel Agency Bookings:
Green Gecko Expeditions aren’t for everyone. It’s important that our guests understand why these trips are called expeditions rather than tours. These expeditions are not for the faint of heart or spoiled traveler. You will experience all the same conditions as Megellan experiences as he explored these islands, rains, winds, sun, mosquitos, sandflies, jellyfish and the occasional spider or snake.
It’s important that the guest understand the above mentioned points so that we know they are right for the trip.
